The 2 databases i will be researching are in biology : Science Direct and BioOne. Science Direct covers many scholarly” journalsFull-text of 1,900 Elsevier Science journals mainly in the fields of science, technology, and medicine” and is very helpfully for scientific research, it covers texts from 1823 till present day.M ost of the text available is in english and most of texts are full texts and its available off-campus. BioOne, covers “integrated access to a resource of interrelated journals focused on the biological, ecological and environmental science”.texts from 1920- till present day are available, available off campus, texts available in english also full text available.
To me Science Direct seems easier to use, research wise, organization wise and text wise. for quick research i guess BioOne would be easier because its very simplified unlike ScienceDirect is better indepth research.
In any case, i would prefer using SciecneDirect because it has more articels and is very scholarly and so is BioOne but i prefer ScienceDirect.
